Wun­der­bares Kon­zert ges­tern im Ply­ground. Alana und Katie kamen — wenn ich es richtig ver­standen habe – ziem­lich spontan aus Bel­fast nach Ham­burg, um ein groß­artig ent­spanntes Kon­zert mit viel Spaß, Impro­vi­sa­tion und Herz zu spielen.

Heute spielen sie übri­gens noch mal um 16 Uhr in Ottensen beim Riba­tejo. Geh hin!

Festival

I saw Sigur Rós at the Berlin Fes­tival last wee­kend. Alt­hough they had some pro­blems with the big video screen behind the band due to the mas­sive sound (it started to fli­cker at louder volumes…), it was one of the best con­certs I’ve ever expe­ri­enced. Really, unbe­lievable. I’ll defi­ni­tely see them again when they’re playing in Berlin next year.
